Working in a consultant and educator capacity, I supported the Kettle’s Yard Learning team in the development of the Button Workshop - a ceramics public programme that complimented the ‘Lucie Rie - The Adventure in Pottery’ exhibition.

I advised the team on best practice in setting up a safe and practical ceramics workshop environment; developed the concept of the programme, and trained all staff responsible for delivery.

I delivered elements of the programme, including creative professional development workshops for teachers, adult workshops, and providing pottery throwing demonstrations. I was commissioned to create 200 unique buttons thrown on the wheel.
